Fully-funded Ph.D. (2024 Fall intake) and Postdoc positions are immediately available at the Department of Information Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Successful candidates will conduct research at AIoT Lab and under the supervision of Prof. Zhenyu Yan (Research Assistant Professor) and Prof. Guoliang Xing (IEEE Fellow). The candidates will conduct system research in Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) with focus topics on:

  • Resilient AIoT sensing;
  • Security and privacy in AIoT systems;
  • Embedded AI and foundation model for cyber-physical systems.

Candidates with solid programming skills, system prototyping capabilities, and relevant research experience in IoT, signal processing, AI, and networking will be preferred.
